Paris College of Art

The Fall 2012 semester starts this week at Paris College of Art, where I'll be continuing as a member of the faculty in the Fine Arts Department.

Back to School

Since late 2011, I have been teaching at École Parsons à Paris, as a member of the faculty in the Fine Arts Department. The graduating seniors will present their final exhibition at Mains d'Oeuvres, opening on Tuesday, April 24th.

Critical Studies: Parsons Paris

This fall, I worked with a group of fantastic students following Dr. Vivian Rehberg's Critical Studies course at Parsons Paris. Meeting at the Bibliotheque Kandinsky, we researched the history and content of 20th century and contemporary art magazines such as Artforum, Artnexus, Beaux Arts, Frieze, and Turps Banana. Readings included Sarah Thornton's Artforum chapter from Seven Days in the Art World, and my interview with Cyprien Gaillard for UOVO magazine.
